This presentation explores the creative work of director Ján Novák and creative producer Hana Lasicová, the team behind the new 16-episode series Miša in Košice, produced in collaboration with TV JOJ. IFF Art Film 2025 will exclusively premiere selected episodes from the series, which showcases a successful partnership between a commercial broadcaster, the Košice Self-Governing Region, and the Košice Region Film Office.

Ján Novák is a Czech director and screenwriter who has worked continuously in television since 1995, collaborating with Czech Television, TV Prima, TV Nova, and private production companies. Initially focused on documentaries, he gradually expanded into fiction and today is recognized as a versatile author who often edits his own work.
