This masterclass will focus on the work of one of the most respected cinematographers of the post-revolution era in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Martin Štrba will discuss not only the development of his own artistic approach, but also how he perceives the evolution of Slovak and Czech cinema over the past three decades.

Martin Štrba is considered one of the leading cinematographers in Central European cinema. He has received five Czech Lion Awards. He is also a multiple winner of the Slovak National Film Award Slnko v sieti, and recipient of the Czech Film Critics’ Award.
