Celeste Buckingham – Acoustic Concert
admission EUR 20 / free for Cinepass holders, limited capacity, reservation required
Celeste Buckingham rose to fame at the age of fifteen through the Czech-Slovak version of the talent show SuperStar. Her global success is unmistakably tied to songs like “Run Run Run,” “Crushin’ My Fairytale,” and “Go Away.” Her music regularly ranks among the most-played tracks.
She recently released a new single, What Do I Do Now, which also inspired the title of her literary debut. Adela Vinczeová, among others, has said that Celeste is the only figure in Slovak pop music who meets international standards.
For the IFF Art Film, together with Matěj Vávra (producer, musician, and singer) and Lukáš Vajda (drummer), they have prepared a special acoustic festival set featuring not only her biggest hits, but also a selection of well-known film songs.
