The story of Mikuláš Černák, a man who became a symbol of 1990 s Slovakia. Once feared across the country, he is now serving a life sentence.

Following the feature film, audiences can look forward to the four‑part miniseries MIKI, which will be presented as an exclusive preview at IFF ART FILM.

1. Miki from Telgárt could have lived a normal life – if he hadn’t been lured by money after the revolution. Drawn into shady deals with his friends, he quickly loses any sense of restraint.

2. His crew rises fast, but every victory comes at a bloody price. The casualties aren’t just rivals – sometimes, they’re his closest allies.

3. Miki becomes the leader of a powerful mafia group, but it’s not enough. To stay alive, he knows he has to become the boss of all bosses.

4. He eventually rules the Slovak underworld – but pride comes before the fall. Friends turn into traitors, and in the end, no one escapes justice.
