The mission of the escaped prisoner was to free his fellow inmates, but his appetite for power was stronger, and the path to the longed-for liberation turned into a new kind of oppression. Zenith uses dance as a language to illustrate the power dynamics that have shaped the political landscape in recent decades, not only in Central Europe, but around the world. The film is choreographed by Slovak Anton Lachky, who has lived in Brussels for twenty years, where he runs the successful dance company Anton Lachky Company. As a choreographer he has worked with many foreign companies in Iceland, Sweden, Finland and Italy.
