Here, reality walks hand in hand with dreams – and the afterlife.This is the setting for RasťoBoroš's new film, which uses its unique visual poetics and grotesque humour to explore sensitive yet still relevant themes in our society.

The grotesque tales of two lazy brothers, adrift in their own naivety and foolishness, unfold somewhere in the hills of central Slovakia. Their story is a metaphor for our deep-rooted archetypes – unchanged for centuries – that define us as a nation, in both the best and worst sense of the word: raw, absurd, and unmistakably authentic.
