A group of five women, who call themselves the Aquabelles of Prandorf, decide to take up winter swimming. Starting in a local pond, this mutual hobby becomes not only a therapeutic activity but also an opportunity for traveling. The film follows the life journeys of each of them, united by their friendship and their common approach to the cheerful and less cheerful everyday situations of life.
Make no mistake: Prandorf is not an Austrian village on Lake Neusiedl near Bratislava, but the historical name of the village of Devičany in the district of Levice from 1550 to 1948.
