13-year-old Julia and her 8-year-old twin siblings Ida and Sindre want to meet their father in southern Norway. They decide to stow away on a helicopter, but in the middle of the journey, it suddenly has to change course. Only after the children have disembarked and the helicopter has flown away do they realize that they’re on an uninhabited island in the country’s Arctic north. For Julia, the older one, a formidable task awaits. In the face of deep frosts, gale-force winds, hunger and wild animals, will she manage to apply her ingenuity and save herself and her siblings?
