Joe and Angela are going through a marital crisis, and their relationship is hanging by a thread. Just as another of their endless arguments reaches its breaking point, their mysterious upstairs neighbours ring the doorbell. Angela invites them in for dinner without telling her husband. What begins as an awkwardly ordinary evening visit soon takes a completely unexpected turn after a few bottles of wine and some uneasy conversation...
