Growing up in the multicultural environment of today's Vienna is not easy for Yesmin from a Muslim Kurdish family. With her friends Nati and Bella, she aspires to become an influencer and become popular on the internet. How to combine the issue of wearing the hijab, twerking, and drinking alcohol at lavish parties with these ideas is not entirely clear. Kerim, Yesmin's brother, is wanted by the police because he killed a pig out of protest, and the girls are furthermore attracted to young Kurdish patriots, which complicates the situation of the young rebels considerably.

The film was a Nominee European Film Award for European Discovery of the Year and won the Vienna Film Award for Best Austrian Film at the Viennale.
