Irina is a single mother from Ukraine who lives with her son Igor in a small Czech town. When Igor wakes up in the hospital, the incident becomes a story that takes on different perspectives under the influence of media, political and public figures. Victim is the story of a mother who demands justice but faces discrimination, nationalism, and prejudice. To protect her family and seek the truth, she must ultimately make a fateful decision. The Michal Blaško‘s debut film had its world premiere at the Venice IFF. Locally, this social drama resonated at the annual awards.
