The story of a seven-year-old girl Romy whose little budgie Mimi went missing. Her determination to find Mimi leads her through the ancient Danube forest, where she meets characters with seemingly mundane stories. Romy may not find Mimi, but she discovers much more, such as adventure and new friends, and strengthens her friendship with Cypek. She-Hero is a film dedicated to children, trees, and the river, because they are our only future.

She-Hero had its world premiere at the 73rd Berlinale and won the Grand Prix of the Generation Kplus International Jury for the Best Film.
